Science Squad

A new Science Squad for 2024!

Our Science Squad are in charge of sharing their love of investigating with their classmates and the whole school! Here are some of their roles and responsibilities:

· collecting ideas about how to make our science learning even more exciting; then eeting with Miss Allenby to share these;

· choosing new equipment, based on the needs and suggestions of their classmates, to support purposeful, practical lessons;

· planning and organising themed days or events, such as British Science Week and the Great Science Share for Schools, as well as in-school competitions;

· sharing ideas about how we can promote a love of science here at OJS!

We also have some ‘Secret Scientists’ seeking science in action around school during break and lunchtimes!
