Meet our new Wellbeing Ambassadors!
A new group for 2023/2024, the Wellbeing Ambassadors meet regularly with Mrs Fretwell. During the year, we will be looking at the national events, such as Children In Need, that we want to take part in and what exactly we want to do in school. We are looking forward this year to choosing a special local charity that we want to support and will be thinking of a new fundraiser for everyone at OJS to take part in.
Saint Michael’s Jumpathon!!
Over the past term, we have been meeting, discussing and fine-tuning our ideas for fundraising for a local charity. The Wellbeing Ambassadors and pleased to announce that they have decided they would like to support Saint Michael’s Hospice this year. They are planning a very exciting sponsored event, due to take place in school every day for a week, starting on Monday 26th February. More details of this event will be coming soon. We look forward to meeting and welcoming some of the team from Saint Michael’s Hospice into school to lead an assembly very soon. We’d like to tell you the name of the event – the Saint Michael’s Jumpathon! More details to follow in the next few weeks...
