Happy Birthday Bike Bus!

Who'd have thought it?
Merely twelve months since Hazel and Ben approached Mr Morley and Mr Harrison about starting a Bike Bus for Oatlands Infant and Junior School, we now enjoy a bi-weekly celebration for cycling and scooting into school.
It is wonderful to see about one hundred children, mums, dads and volunteers join us as we process from the Stray, through the streets of Harrogate, to our our two stops - Oatlands Infant School and Oatlands Junior School.
We are internally grateful to for Hazel and Ben from Walkbikescoot for all their wonderful organisation and behind the scenes effort to make sure we have a safe and fun event every other week.
We would also like to extend our tanks to all the volunteers, both parents and community members, who have trained to marshal and keep everyone safe on the ride.
Finally, a huge thanks to all the Oatlands Infant and Junior School families who make the Bike Bus such a successful event. Long may it continue!
