Joint Oatlands Infants and Oatlands Junior PTA Christmas Fair

Our annual joint Christmas Fair will be held at Oatlands Infants School from 1-4pm. There will be lots of festive stalls and cheer, so please do come along with family and friends to support the PTA. We look forward to seeing you there for games, raffles, refreshments and a visit from Santa!!

Bike Bus – 1 year anniversary ride.
This morning, pupils, parents, and staff from both Oatlands Infants and Oatlands Junior came together to mark the first anniversary of our Bike Bus ride to school. It’s been a fantastic year of promoting healthy, safe and fun journeys and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of Hazel and Ben from Walkbikescoot, along with our dedicated volunteer marshals and parents. Thank you for helping make this event such a success every time!
We look forward to our next Bike Buses on Friday 5th and Friday 19th December.

Staffing update
Last week, we gave a fond farewell to Miss Purtz who will be pursuing a new career in tutoring. Miss Purtz has taught across the school and enjoyed accompanying Year 6 on their residential visit to Mount Cook. Miss Purtz will be missed by children and staff and we wish her all the very best in her new endeavours.
Toys and pencil cases from home
We kindly remind parents that children should not bring toys from home, including soft toys and Tech Decks.
School provides most of the resources your child needs in their pencil case. Children may bring:
- A pencil case (maximum 30cm, able to fit in their class tray)
- Colouring pencils
Please do not send:
- Felt tip pens, highlighters, or gel pens
- Specialist stationery (e.g. Legami erasable pens), as these items can get lost or damaged and cause unnecessary upset
Thank you for helping us keep classrooms organized and focused!
Christmas Dates
December is always a busy and exciting time for our children in school. A reminder of all the events happening on the run up to the end of term. We are particularly looking forward to the Year 3 Christmas Assemblies and the whole school trip to see the pantomime and Harrogate Theatre.

Parent / Carer Helpers
A huge thank you to all our parent helpers who have supported our pupils in school or accompanied classes on trips. It really does make a difference, and I really appreciate your time and generosity. If you are able to support with any future events, trips or activities, please contact your child's class teacher.
Thank you for your continued support.
Wishing you a lovely weekend.
