Authors Abroad Poetry Slam at the Carriageworks in Leeds

On the evening of Tuesday 23rd April, Miss Starrett, Mrs Ritchie and Mrs Wilkinson were delighted to accompany to teams of year 6 children at the Authors Abroad Poetry Slam at the Carriageworks Theatre in Leeds.

Twelve teams of children from 7 - 16 took part in a celebration of performance poetry. Both Oatlands Junior School teams performed brilliantly, with Team B came second overall.
