In a vibrant collaboration between schools, Mr Ratcliffe from St John Fisher School has been inspiring Year 5 Tigers at Oatlands Junior School through a dynamic music initiative called Brass Brigade.
The project introduces pupils to the joy of brass instruments, offering hands-on experience with trumpets and trombones. Mr Ratcliffe’s engaging teaching style and passion for music have made weekly sessions a highlight for the children, fostering not only musical skills but also confidence and teamwork.
The Brass Brigade is more than just a music lesson—it’s a celebration of creativity and cross-school partnership. As the Tigers learn to play and perform, they’re building a foundation for lifelong appreciation of music.
Stay tuned for future performances that showcase the incredible progress these young musicians are making!
